Among truly easy cakes, the five-minute cake keeps its promise: few steps, a straightforward batter and a soft, delicate result. Sift flour, baking powder and potato starch with sugar and vanilla, add eggs, seed oil and milk, pour into a tin and bake. Once cool, dust with icing sugar or enrich as you like — still in the spirit of recipes of yesteryear: simple, for everyone, with today’s ingredients.
Ingredients
Ingredients
Farina 00 — 200 g
Fecola di patate — 100 g
Zucchero — 200 g
Uova — 3
Latte — 220 ml
Olio di semi — 120 ml
Lievito per dolci — 1 bustina
Vanillina — 1 bustina
Method
Lasciate raffreddare, togliete dallo stampo e decorate a piacere (zucchero a velo, o farcitura semplice).

With icing sugar it looks even better. I remake it whenever guests come over.
